Via the Cima Capi - Via Ferrata Fausto Susatti
The varied route to the Cima Capi is rewarding for every via ferrata enthusiast and is also suitable for beginners. The circular route starts and ends directly in Riva del Garda. First, we ascend along the Via Ponale on the steep flank of the Cima Capi. Along the way, we enjoy the view over the sparkling waters of Lake Garda. Later, a narrow hiking trail leads us through the rugged rocks of the Cima Capi to the start of the Fausto Sussati via ferrata. Along the ridge, we follow the secured path to the summit of Cima Capi. Once there, we enjoy the view over Lake Garda and Trentino. We also let our gaze wander over the highest peaks of the Monte Baldo range on the opposite shore. After enjoying the summit, we continue along the ridge on the via ferrata. Along the way, we pass sections that can be climbed without a safety line. After reaching the highest point of the route, we descend along a wall to a scenic cave. Then, we follow the normal hiking trail back to Riva. On the descent, we
