The limestone face of Monte Casale seems reserved for absolute climbing pros from below, as it appears so steep and imposing. The route is really not suitable for beginners due to its length, but advanced and enduring climbers will fully enjoy the well-secured path. The route is varied, climbing sections alternate with rungs on smooth, almost vertical rock, long traverses with breathtaking views downwards, and short walking sections. All efforts of the long ascent are rewarded at the latest at the summit of Monte Casale, as from here the panoramic view of the Garda Mountains, the Brenta group, and the many lakes in the surrounding valleys is unique. The only downside for tired legs is the long descent on the northern side of the mountain.
