Stoderzinken 2048 m via via ferrata "Franz", Dachstein Mountains
Short route to a scenic two-thousander due to the high starting point via the toll road. The via ferratas give the short route a certain "spice."
From the last parking lot first to the Friedenskircherl. Then briefly on the via ferrata "Flora" and then on the path "Franz" to the ridge. Quickly to the Stoderzinken and a bit down to the cross. On the return way to the photogenic suspension bridge and over the short path "Emil" back to the Friedenskircherl. To the Rosegger monument, before the Stoderhaus still to the transmitter and descent via Stoderhaus to the parking lot.

ASCENT: From the parking lot at about 1795 m over the settlement to the Stoderhaus (1829 m) and slightly down into the saddle (~ 1815 m). Now keep right and follow the signposts "Friedenskircherl." Slight ascent in the forest and then keep left crossing the south side with small counter climbs. We reach the scenic Friedenskircherl (1898 m) with a resting bench, for many hikers the turning point. Here put on the via ferrata set and at the Florasteig (A) briefly down and up again. To the left are the short via ferratas "David (A/B), Emil (B/C), Karl (D) and Julius (E), where we come back to. Now we descend steeply for a short time (~1860 m) and cross to the start of "Franz and Peter." Only briefly on, then the via ferratas split, the somewhat easier via ferrata "Franz (B/C)" leads left, partly exposed and steeply up to the exit around 1960 m. Remove the via ferrata set and quickly to the nearby hiking trail 676. Right, first some larch corridors, then moderate ascent in open terrain. We pass the exits of the via ferratas "Peter and Hilde," see the cross and are soon at the transmitter at the highest point, the Stoderzinken (2048 m). 335 vertical meters and almost 1 1/4 hrs.
DESCENT: The cross with the better view is a bit lower, here you rest and enter the summit book. The view to the Kammspitze opposite is a good photo motive. Now back on the ascent route and soon after exiting the via ferrata "Franz" we see the suspension bridge below on the left, a top photo spot. You almost have to descend the few vertical meters and from the normal descent path left to the bridge (A/B). Either briefly down the via ferrata "Emil" (B/C) or via the easier path "David" (A/B). Both are very short. Cross right below and to the normal path "Florasteig" (A) at 1930 m. A bit further down on the known path and right through the saddle up to the Friedenskircherl (1898 m), an ideal rest spot. Now back on the ascent route, a few meters right above the path is the Rosegger monument ~1887 m. We pass the paragliders' launch site, then go right to the saddle (1815 m). Slight ascent and before the Stoderhaus we branch off right again to extend the short route a little. Slight ascent on a kind of forest road and left to the transmitter facility ~1871 m with a nice view back to the normal route of the Stoderzinken with Kammspitz in the background. Down to the Stoderhaus and over the settlement to the parking lot. Another 90 vertical meters and also almost 1 1/4 hrs walking time.
Total: 425 vertical meters, about 2 1/4 hrs walking time with putting on the set and approx. 4.1 km distance according to system calculation.
