Roadbook
The start is the St. Magdalena parking lot at "Kruschtner", Gschnitz 65. From there, follow the hiking trail towards St. Magdalena for about 30 minutes to the entry point. This is located behind the fence with a gate, visible slightly above the trail. At first, you can ascend the initial short section up to Habichtblick via variants A-E. These variants are intended for trying out and learning your limits. For families, variants A or B are recommended. At Habichtblick, you can take a look at the panoramic targets and learn about the surrounding peaks. From there, the actual via ferrata of difficulty grade B/C continues. It leads fairly straight upwards over rocky terrain, ascending over small rock ledges and soil. On the way up, there are several rest stops with wooden benches inviting you to enjoy the beautiful view of Mutte, Zeisspitze, and the Gschnitz mountains. The exit is located directly below the pilgrimage chapel and joins the hiking trail. The snack station is also located here. After a cool drink and a snack, return along the hiking trail (descent) to the parking lot.
