Sentiero delle Bocchette Centrale
The Sentiero delle Bocchette Centrali is only moderately difficult as a via ferrata and therefore shines less with challenging climbing passages than with its spectacular route along the rugged rock walls of the Brenta massif. The path runs airy over numerous rock ledges along the steep walls of the Sfulmini Towers, which drop over 1000 m, and past the Campanile Basso, a majestically rising rock pinnacle and symbol of the Brenta. Via ladders, short unsecured climbing passages, and again the spectacular rock ledges with fantastic mountain panorama, the path leads from the Bocca degli Armi above the Alimonta hut to the Bocca di Brenta. The worldwide known via ferrata is already considered legendary among mountaineers. During busy times on weekends or holidays, it can happen that the relatively short path, with a pure walking time of about three hours, is very crowded.
