Sentiero Bocchette Alte

The Sentiero Bocchette Alte is the most demanding section of the four-day Brenta crossing on the Bocchette Trail. However, the route can also be easily done as a day stage. From the upper station of the Grostè cable car via Rifugio Tuckett, the varied route leads over exposed ladders, steep traverses and impressive ledges first over the eastern flank of the Cima Brenta and then to Rifugio Alimonta. Mountain experience, fitness and sufficient provisions are essential on this high alpine route at over 3000 m. Numerous difficult climbing sections, icy path sections and scree present a challenge even in good weather conditions without rain and fog, which must be consciously taken into account beforehand.
