Seebensee combination

We start our tour from the large parking lot at the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn. We follow the signs south towards the waterfall and Seebensee via ferrata. We climb this and then arrive at the Seebenalm. Past this and the Seebensee, we follow the signs towards the Coburger Hut. Shortly after the material cable car, a sign points left, and the path leads over loose scree to the start of the Tajakante via ferrata. This one is very long and also has a few tricky sections. From the Vorderer Tajakopf, we then descend to also climb the Hinterer Tajakopf. The via ferrata leading up here is only a very steep ascent and should take about 10 minutes to complete. From there, it goes down over loose scree to the Coburger Hut. This is a great place for a short break before heading back down towards Seebensee. We circle it to the right and then, after the lake, keep left to choose the descent via the Hoher Gang. This is a via ferrata in the A/B difficulty range. For experienced hikers, the descent should pose no problem. Now you can follow the signs back to the parking lot.
