The Norissteig in the Franconian Alb is a circular hiking route with easy via ferrata sections, established in 1929 by the DAV section Noris.

The almost 6 km long Norissteig leads through the forests between Fischbrunn and Hirschbach in the beautiful Hirschbachtal valley and is a popular excursion destination in the greater Nuremberg area. Repeatedly, easy to moderate climbing sections such as caves, traverses, and rock chimneys are passed, but all of these can be bypassed on the parallel normal route.
