Roadbook
After a difficult section in the entry wall, the trail becomes easier again. In a left-facing recess, you reach walking terrain after a short descent. Directly before four ladders, the wire rope is interrupted for about 15 m but this does not pose a problem. Above the ladders, cross about 15 m left without a rope to the key section, a chimney and narrow crack. Through this, climb up inside the mountain, then move exposed to the right onto a simple ledge. At the end of it follows a short, exposed unpleasant ridge section into a notch. Here, you could cross straight to the descent path immediately. To the right, the trail leads a few meters more to the summit ridge and finally without rope to the summit cross.
The descent leads from the summit down into the forest on the west side. The first meters are secured by ropes. Going shortly northwards, you reach a junction. Keeping right would bring you back to the ascent path. Descending to the left, you reach a saddle with a bench and excellent views of Bad Goisern within a few minutes. A rope-secured section overcomes a steep step. Then it goes downwards in switchbacks to a forest road. Hiking left on this forest road brings you back to the starting point.
