The Grigna Meridionale, or Grignetta, is the 2177 m high southern summit of the Grigna mountain range on the eastern edge of Lake Como. Due to its many small towers, needles, and columns, it resembles the Dolomites. Several via ferratas lead up its slopes, which have been restored and equipped with climbing aids in recent years. A beautiful circular route combining three via ferratas leads via the Direttissima di Grignetta, the Sentiero Cecilia, and finally the Cresta Sinigaglia back down.
