Welcome to a walk at the southern end of the world! This route takes us 3 kilometers through the heart of Punta Arenas, the gateway to Antarctica and Patagonia. We start our tour in the city center and take our time to soak up the special atmosphere of this place. Our route provides an initial overview of the city. We stroll along a mixture of footpaths and short stretches of gravel, which makes for a pleasant change of pace. With only 13 meters of elevation gain, the path is very flat and invites you to explore at a leisurely pace, without any rush and suitable for all fitness levels. We pass some of the city's most important sights, including the central Plaza de Armas with its famous monument and the impressive Santuario Maria Auxiliadora church. Between the checkerboard streets, we always catch a glimpse of the legendary Strait of Magellan, just a few hundred meters away. This walk is a wonderful opportunity to experience the history and rugged charm of Patagonia up close.
