Leutkirch trilogy tour

From the start and welcome place at the „Gänsbühl“, past the Gänseliesel fountain, to the „Marktstraße“ and here turn left past the Martinsbrunnen to Spitalgasse, which leads left past the former hospital to the Leutkirch church St. Martin. It goes right past the church and over the Marienplatz up the stairs to the „Oberer Graben“. There turn right into the „Hoherbergweg“ and then left into the beautiful avenue. Past the Thingsstätte from the NS era to the trilogy square on the theme of glass. Then on the path on the right first to a Kneipp facility and further down to the city pond. After crossing the „Balterazhofer Straße“ straight on to the Naturpfad Stadtweiher, past the Fokussierstele and an information board referring to the city pond first mentioned in 1397 and its history until the expansion between 1961 and 1965 to today's 18 hectares. The water outflow is crossed via a bridge and the busy „Kemptener Straße“ is reached. Please walk left over the parking lot of the city swimming pool here, until the path leads left again into a beautiful avenue past the tennis courts, including some magnificent ash trees. At the eastern pond shore to the nature reserve and the former Moosmühle pumping station there are more information boards. Continue left along the shore between the forest edge and water until a nature path branches off uphill to the right. When reaching the „Balterazhofer Straße“ (tip: the impressive forest cemetery is a few meters to the right) turn left, then go straight and branch off into the „Vogelhaldeweg“ lined with avenue trees. At the height of the stairway down to the Kneipp bath, then right uphill, first on a path, then over stairs to the forest edge with a barbecue hut. Please keep left along the forest edge on the path here, until a driveway („An der Wilhelmshohe“) leads from the right to the left to the festival meadow of Leutkirch on the Wilhelmshöhe (709 m). From there over stairways first down to the „Oberer Graben“, then turn right to the elementary school and turn left at a sharp angle and right down through the „Schneegasse“ back to the „Gänsbühl“ and the end point.
