Planina plateau (≈ 8 km) Ascend to the Planina plateau passing Guerila estate; scenic open terrain.
Descent towards Slap & Lože (≈ 13 km) Descend into the village of Slap then continue with a gentle ascent through Lože — Aid Station 1 (Lože ~13 km).
Lože to Goče & Podraga (≈ 22 km) Trail traverses vineyard and hillside paths via the picturesque village of Goče, continues onward to Podraga following by steep climb to Socerb.
From Socerb towards Podnanos and Nanos climb (≈ 31 km) First major climb on Socerb then the significant ascent up to Nanos plateau (1,262 m) — Aid Station 3 (Nanos ~31 km).
Nanos descent & Vipava valley (≈ 49 km) Descend through the heart of Nanos, past Abram Tourist Farm and the chapel above Plaz, reaching the valley and Aid Station 4 (Vipava ~49 km) on the main square.
Vipava to Budanje (≈ 55 km) After a short flat valley section, ascend past Budanje and traverse the southern slopes of Angelska Gora along a historic Roman path.
Return to Ajdovščina (≈ 60 km) Trail follows vineyard tracks to the Hubelj spring and back into town centre for the finish line in Ajdovščina.

From Nova Gorica (approx. 30 minutes), follow the H4 expressway towards Ljubljana and exit at Ajdovščina. From Trieste, Italy (approx. 45 minutes), drive via the Fernetiči border crossing towards Sežana and continue on the H4 expressway.
