Von Scuol (1195m) im Unterengadin führt die Strecke am Inn entlang hinab nach Sur En (1133m). Nun geht es stetig bergauf durch die romantische Uinaschlucht. Erst erreichen wir Uina Dadora (1460m) mit der ersten Verpflegung, bevor es durch die Felswände und Tunnels der spektakulären Uinaschlucht über die Grenze nach Italien zum Schlinigpass (2261m) geht. Vorbei an der Sesvennahütte zur Höferalp und dort den Abzweig nach Schlinig (1738m). Erstmals kann man König Ortler erkennen. Dieser gewaltige 3000er wird uns die nächsten Tage begleiten. Über den Jakobsweg hinaus aus dem Schliniger Tal nach Laatsch (983m). Entlang der Etsch nach Glurns (913m) gelangen wir nach Soles (898m). Der letzte Streckenabschnitt ist geprägt von traumhaften Singletrails - hinauf zum Schloss Lichtenberg und abwärts nach Prad (907m) im Vinschgau.
