Flat route in the Isel to the reservoir and the small Altein waterfall. Perfect trail route for beginners.
The route starts at the ARA in the Isel and first leads around the reservoir. Through the idyllic Isel forest, which slightly resembles the forests in Scandinavia, the trail is flat but gently ascending to the small Altein waterfall. Those who dare get very close will be rewarded with a cool refreshment. Along the Welschtobelbach, the route leads back to the parking lot at the ARA.

In spring, the Isel features Frauenschüahli (flower) to admire.

From the ARA over the new suspension bridge to the reservoir inflow, once around the reservoir, a section on the winter cross-country skiing trail to the rear bridge at the end of the wide stream bed, a detour to the small Altein waterfall, back to the ARA on the other side of the stream (Welschtobelbach).
