Tauerntrail Alpin South

From the material cable car in Innerfragant to the Fraganter Schutzhaus there is an alpine path that leads relatively steeply uphill but is comfortable to run on. In the upper part, the wide hiking trail flattens out, which reaches the Fraganter Schutzhaus at 1810 meters above sea level after about an hour.  Now you run past the Eggerhütte to the Schobertörl on a wide hiking and cattle track. On the other side you go downhill and soon cross to the right to the Kröllalm. From there it goes over an alpine path to the Sadnighütte, where the carbohydrate stores should be replenished. From there you run a short stretch downhill on the access road to then take the hiking trail to the Hoher Sadnig, which initially leads quite steeply upwards. But our goal is the Sadnigscharte at almost 2500 meters above sea level with an overwhelming view. From there we first run steeply down to the Mellenböden and then in an elegant left curve over paths and an alpine path until our goal, the Fraganter Schutzhaus, is reached.
