Down the Gustav Fischer Steig to the Weidlingbach and then downstream to the edge of Hinterweidling (start of South Tyrol trail). Safety information

The steep sections can be quite slippery when wet.

GPX track recommended as the trails are mostly unmarked or the markings frequently change.

Drinking water: when you reach the beginning of the South Tyrol trail in Hinterweidling (first houses and the route branches off from the river course into a steep climb), there is a small wooden fountain on the right side of the path. There is drinking water there, but the amount released is very low – possibly drying up in summer!
