1 - From Place du Claux, head towards Place St-Jacques to take the Vernèdes Hautes path which leads to the RD178; follow it to the left for 500m. Then take the right onto the Vallongue ravine (it lives up to its name), the first climb leading to the Larzac plateau (it is also the GR71D).
2 - Once on the Causse, stride from farm to farm. Don't hesitate to take time to admire the Caussenard architecture at Baylet, L'Aubiguier (why not a detour to Aires and Homs). The hamlet of St-Sauveur is the first stage before plunging into the valley to immediately climb back up to Revens via a very beautiful built path.
3 - From Revens, set course for the famous descent of Cantobre, a very beautiful "trail" spot where you can work on all your runner qualities. Visiting Cantobre is a must. The site is remarkable, a magnificent hamlet perched on its rock.
4 - Then engage in a well-known final for runners, namely the famous climb up Roc Nantais and the equally famous technical descent of Roc Nantais, this beautiful cliff overlooking Nant.
