The Omes Loop starts in the centre of Lech at the Dorfhus. From here, the route first takes you along a wide, well-surfaced path over the Omesberg – a pleasant start with a gentle climb and lovely views. You then head towards Zug, where you’ll soon reach the Zug Kneipp facility. This is the perfect spot for a short break and a refreshing chance to rest your legs. After the Kneipp station, you cross the River Lech and continue past the forest swimming pool, before the route leads through sections of woodland and meadows, with gentle ascents, towards Tannberg. From there, the route heads downhill along a tarmac section back to the Lech. The final few metres along the Lech take you on a leisurely walk back to the centre of Lech. A short, varied loop offering an ideal combination of tarmac paths, natural sections and a refreshing highlight along the way.
