From Langtauferer Hof, the trail leads down to Karlinbach. After the bridge, turn right and follow the hiking signs to Mahderkreuz (15A). The gently ascending forest trail is perfect for warming up. From Mahderkreuz, proceed downstream towards Masebner Hut (6). The path has only slight inclines (70 m) and is continuously runnable – ideal for beginners. The downhill back to the hotel partly runs over forest roads and forest trails, passing the Masebner Alm.
