A particular highlight of the route is the area around the confluence of the Lech and Spullerbach. Here, the path takes you across wooden walkways right through the river landscape – an impressive experience of nature and, at the same time, one of the most beautiful sections of the route. After this highlight, you’ll reach the turning point in the Spullerwald area. The return journey follows partly along the same trail and partly along the opposite bank back towards Zug, offering fresh perspectives on the Lech once again. The final few metres take you back to the Zug district at a leisurely pace.
