In a grandiose setting
From the valley station of the Langenstein chairlift, walk briefly uphill along the stairs until you reach a flat path. Continue to the right until you reach the first signpost „Langenstein“ and climb ürather flatly via trail no. 3 until you reach a trail marker sign „Wiege“. Follow this path until it meets the root path (signposted). Now briefly üvia the root path upwards until it meets path no. 3 again. Do not continue along this path, which leads flatly to the left, but climb straight up to the mountain station along the steep path (root path). Attention, at this fork the root path is neither signposted nor marked! Time required 30 min. – 1 hr. 30 min.
