Roadbook
Start: Nauders, district Parditsch (Wirtshaus Parditsch).
Route: from Parditsch climb up to Labaunalm and continue south to Labauner Köpfl (highest point, climb completed). Then a smooth trail section via Piengalm (refreshment option after approx. 14 km) towards Bergkastel. From there continue flat across the border into Italy to the historic Plamort-Bodeneck area.
Finish/downhill: passing the anti-tank obstacles, a final technical downhill follows with views of Lake Resia, ending on a forest road. The last meters are an easy run into the village centre of Reschen.

Arrival: by Postbus (line 210 from Landeck) or the South Tyrolean bus service (line 273 from Mals) to the “Nauders Zentrum” or “Mühle” stop, from where you continue on foot to Parditsch.
Return: as this is a point-to-point route, bus line 273 from Reschen conveniently brings you back to Nauders.
Directions
From the north (D/A): via the Inn Valley motorway (A12) to the Oberinntal junction, then through the Landeck tunnel onto the Reschen Pass road (B180) to Nauders. In the village, follow signs towards Parditsch.
From the south (I/CH): via the Vinschgau valley (SS40) over the Reschen Pass to Nauders, or from Switzerland via Martina/Martinsbruck.
Parking
At the start: limited parking is available in the Parditsch area (Nauders). Alternatively, you can park at the large cable car parking areas in Nauders (Bergkastel) or Reschen (Schöneben) and use the transfer.Coordinates

Equipment
Shoes: trail running shoes with aggressive tread are mandatory (alpine paths, roots, rocks).
Backpack: trail running vest or light running backpack with sufficient fluids (at least 1.5 liters) and energy bars.
Clothing: windproof and waterproof jacket (be aware of weather changes at the tree line), possibly a spare shirt.
Other: smartphone with charged battery (for GPS/emergency calls), first-aid kit, ID card (border crossing!). Foldable trail running poles are very helpful for the long initial ascent.
