From Neuenweg, head east on a steep paved/field path following the blue diamond to the "Hölzle" with impressive ski jump facilities. The road is crossed and the southern slope of Belchen is climbed relatively directly, with some switchbacks in the upper part up to the Belchenhaus. From there, left or right around to the summit which can be reached in about an hour. Back to Belchenhaus, continue following the blue diamond crossing the Belchen road once. After the hairpin bend of the "upper Stuhlsebene", do not follow the road to the cable car, but turn right after 700m towards Untermulten! The path (now yellow diamond) follows the Hintergrundbach to the "Lückle", where the road is crossed once more; there are 3km left to the "Wiedener Eck". About another hour from the Belchen summit.
The route turns sharply southwest behind the Wiedener Eck gate, now on the Westweg (red diamond), briefly on a forest road, then on a narrow forest path through the Belchen slope towards Münstertal. The last section is quite steep; then you are at the summit for the second time. From Wiedener Eck, this is possible in 30-45 minutes.
The path is briefly retraced, then we turn left and circle the summit on the north side (lower summit path), until after a semicircle around the summit the descent towards Haldenhof is signposted. Over the subsidiary summit, the Hohe Kelch, there are several ways to reach the pass between little Wiesental and Münstertal. Then the route heads towards Nonnenmattweiher, now following the blue diamond, past the lake, back to Neuenweg.

Especially the southern slopes are often very exposed to the sun. Be sure to pack enough drinks and sun protection.Localization
