The tour starts in Rankweil behind the basilica, then goes over the LKH Valduna, past the quarry to the entrance of the Netschelweg. Follow this to Bad Laterns. From there head towards Garnitza, where you turn left towards Gapfohl just after the bridge. After successfully overcoming the ascent, a very nice trail leads to the Gapfohl mountain station. From there, take a nice trail towards Lesegatter and from there it goes only downhill ;). At the Männle junction, we turn right towards Dafins. From Dafins, take side paths (parallel to the road) to Röthis and then to Weiler.
The route can also be altered from the Männle junction via Alpwegkopf and over the poles for example to Furx or Suldis.
Author’s recommendation
I walked the tour on 18.04.2025 in 04:58h. I paid attention to keeping a low pulse (you can certainly run faster).
The values for the ascent and descent were taken from my Garmin running watch.
