Aschbach - Speedhiking

From the parking lot at the valley station of the cable car to Aschbach, first follow the paved road uphill (signpost Aschbach). After about 700 m, the footpath branches off to the left (gate, signpost). Then continue through the forest, briefly steep and then again a bit more comfortably along a narrow path up to a forest road. There you can either continue steeply straight ahead on an overgrown path or better follow the forest road uphill to the left. Attention: there is no signpost at this junction! Ascend the forest road up to a wooden cross at a fork in the path. Continue straight ahead here, then briefly downhill to a farmhouse. Pass by this (observe the trail markings!) and ascend again somewhat steeper through the forest to the next fork in the path. Continue to the left (path sign Aschbach) and thus reach the paved road leading to the hamlet of Aschbach.
