Many scenic highlights, such as the Hochfall, the view from Kl. and Gr. Arber, and the deep view from Mittagsplatzl to Arbersee as well as the impressive Rieslochfälle, await the trail runner on this already quite demanding round around the Arber. Very high trail proportion and partly quite technical sections included.

From the parking lot, first go back to the access road, follow it a few meters to the right, then turn left onto the forest path towards Hochfall.
We follow the marking to Hochfall. Shortly before the waterfalls, which are already visible here, the path branches off to the right and then immediately left again. A detour to the falls is worth it.
We continue to follow the signposted path and come back onto Scharebenstraße, follow it shortly to the left and then turn right into the forest again, follow the course of the stream and after a short time cross the stream on a bridge. We continue to follow the path marking No. 6 until we come to a short asphalt section uphill, where we immediately meet a forest road again. On the other side is a small shelter, pass it and turn into path No. 7 and follow it up to the ridge where we meet the Goldsteig path from Eck to Arber. We follow this to the right to Kl. Arber, cross it and descend to the Chamer hut.
Here the path first becomes wider, then again a narrower trail until we meet the access road to Gr. Arber. We follow this up to the summit.
We circle the summit past the Zwieseler hut keeping left, then take the stairs down, at the end of the stairs do not miss the left turn to the Mittagsplatzl . Past the viewpoint to a forest road, go straight ahead a little further, then continue straight on the narrow path. Past the takeoff ramp for paragliders always follow the marking to Bodenmais. After a steep downhill on the forest road, a sharp right turn branches off onto another forest road, follow this to its end, further on the trail to Rieslochfall, here pass the bridge by the falls and then immediately left over the stream, then right uphill to Bodenmais via Schweiklruhe.
At the end walk a short stretch on asphalt, then another short gravel section and take the narrow trail on the right in a left curve back to the starting point.
