You can get lost several times and take one wrong turn, but you usually quickly end up in a dead end and just walk back those few meters. So take a map and just go for it. The start is the parking lot in Trins/Leiten. It goes westwards on a partly paved forest road and after a short distance you turn left onto a smaller trail (towards St. Barbara Chapel). Shortly after the chapel, turn half-left again towards the Sarnthein Waterfalls.
After the waterfall, at a junction keep left uphill (direction Gschnitz, Lazauneben) and always follow the trail until a forest road, continue to the right. At a hairpin bend, continue straight ahead. The path narrows again to a trail after 300 m.
At an old lime kiln (a visit is worthwhile), the path divides into an upper and lower Anniversary Trail, both directions are possible. I like to turn right onto the upper path here. The route is sometimes difficult, but with a little intuition you reach the destination. Small detours quickly end trail-less. Getting lost is hardly possible. The paths are narrow and rooty, careful walking is required. After about 2 km you return to a forest road, which descends in switchbacks. It is also possible to meet a smaller forest path about 800 m earlier, this can also be walked westwards and then also meets the switchbacks. At about 1260 m, a small trail branches off to the left (beware easy to overlook, signage on the right side of the path). From there always follow the trail, watch for signs to Trins! Over the Sarnthein Waterfall back to the parking lot.
