Over approximately 6 kilometers, the route often follows narrow footpaths going up and down and stepping stones across a small stream. Part of the path even leads through a nature reserve.
With a snack in your backpack, you embark on a small, eventful half-day excursion. Let's go to the Wildcat forest experience!
Encountering the wildcat in the forest is highly unlikely. The animals are extremely shy and rare. Only with great luck will you see them.
The Wildcat forest experience aims to inform about the lifestyle of this secretive forest inhabitant and make its habitat accessible. On the path, you are very close to the wildcat.
