As part of the renaturation of the Nahe, a approximately 1 km long water experience trail was created between Hoppstädten and Weiersbach. Between the former monastery weir and the Steinaubach there are 16 interactive stations where visitors and hikers can learn about the renaturation, the surrounding river landscape, as well as the habitats of the native species. True to the motto: "Experience nature - very close," some stations encourage children's "play instinct," as they are prompted to actively experience the water.
