The Turecká educational trail (8.6 km) is dedicated to mining and forestry themes. Along the trail, there are 26 educational panels and 2 gazebos for resting.
The highest point of the educational trail is the summit of Turecká (954 m above sea level). Interesting places are equipped with information boards describing the individual mining and forestry activities, including a tour of 3 accessible old mining workings.
The start and finish are in the village of Rudná (Rožňava district). It starts in front of the Cultural House, where the introductory panel is located (350 m above sea level), which is also the lowest point of the trail.
The highest point is the summit of Turecká (954 m above sea level) in the easternmost part of the Revúcka Hills. In 2012, a 15 m high metal tourist lookout tower called Turek was built here, from which, in good weather, the High Tatras can also be seen. Near the lookout tower stands the trail signpost of the P. J. Šafárik Trail and an information panel of the NCH Turecká with further details about the location.
