Over Sticks, Stones, and Corals
For your scientific exploration tour on the Steinplatte, it's best to warm up first. Prehistory here is not tediously crammed but climbed, dug up, and played out!
Climb, turn – and understand!
How did the Triassic get its name? What is karst actually? And what do corals look like up close? None of these questions remains unanswered on your tour! Simply look through telescopes on the TRIASSIC Trail, solve puzzles, and – most importantly – stay curious!
A journey into a long-gone world
Close encounter with marine reptiles and other creatures from over 200 million years ago. Into the gondola – up to the prehistoric era! In an interactive experience exhibition, visitors have the chance to "travel" into a fascinating and long-past world.
TRIASSIC BEACH
Your mini-ancient sea on the Steinplatte. On over 200 square meters, expedition participants cool off: At TRIASSIC Beach, there's splashing – and dinosaur riding! On the beach itself, things get heated: Here, digging and crafting take place! After all, there are plenty of fossils to find, dinosaurs to discover – and an exciting treasure hunt! The newest attraction is our huge dino tube slide with a length of 30 meters.
ROBINIA PARK (Low Ropes Course)
The Robinia Park at the Steinplatte in the Triassic Park is a special experience for young and old. The low ropes course near the "Triassic Beach" demands some skills from adventurers such as balance, dexterity, strength, and a bit of courage. The obstacle course consists of logs and ropes. Who can master the balancing act and overcome the obstacles above the ground?
VIEWING PLATFORM
The viewing platform offers an even deeper perspective. Hovering nearly 70 meters above the abyss, the walkable viewing platform near the Triassic Center provides spectacular downward views and breathtaking panoramas in the shape of a fan coral.
