On the hiking route between Gottlieben and Diessenhofen, 12 exceptionally designed benches present themselves with breathtaking views of the Untersee and Rhine.
This region around Lake Constance is one of the most beautiful and historically rich landscapes in Europe. Emperors, popes, princes, and abbots shaped this area and left visible traces. Along the Thronfolgeweg, ordinary people now also find 12 specially created seating areas at the most important viewpoints. Following the individually designed benches, you can enjoy feudal wide and far-reaching views over 45 kilometers.
At the most beautiful viewpoints in each village, the royal seating offers a place to stop and immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings. The selection of resting places is extremely diverse and therefore pure hiking pleasure for young and old, culture lovers, and nature friends.
