Roadbook
The starting point with the marker "Q" begins about 25 m west of the Fronbaum hut on the right.
Now it goes over the “Alte Ritsch” past the Langenkopf spring, the Kathrinenbrünnel to the "Four Beeches" with the Kleyenbach spring. (Here is the rustic shelter hut "Four Beeches" with the same name). Follow the marker further through the Kerwetälchen to Kleyenbaum and from there past the Hergottsbrunnen back to the Fronbaum hut.
Access from hiking car park Lolosruhe approx. 1 km
Drive straight along Klosterstraße in Edenkoben into the forest. Follow the paved road, past the Edenkobener hut at the Hüttenbrunnen. Then continue uphill through 4 switchback-like curves until you reach Lolosruhe car park (entrance immediately on the left). From here follow the marker "green/white bar" or "blue/yellow bar" to the Fronbaum hut.
Access from Sandwiesenweiher car park approx. 2.5 km
From the car park to the St. Martin shelter hut (Hesselbach hut), then follow the marker “green/white bar“ to the Fronbaum hut.
Access from town center approx. 6 km
From the Tourist Info, walk through Mühlstraße, Einlaubstraße past the Bellachini fountain to Wolsel bridge. From there to the St. Martin shelter hut, then follow the marker "green/white bar" to the Fronbaum hut.

By train to Neustadt/Weinstr. main station, then by bus lines 500 or 501 towards Landau to St. Martin.
Or hiking bus, line 503 (Kalmitexpress); runs only on Sundays and public holidays from May to October

Parking
Hiking car park Lolosruhe: Drive straight on Klosterstraße in Edenkoben into the forest, past the Edenkobener hut at the Hüttenbrunnen. A short series of switchbacks, then you reach the car park at the top.
Parking at Sandwiesenweiher, about 2 km outside St. Martin (accessible via Totenkopfstraße L 514 towards Elmsteiner Valley).
Or in town (6 km from the hiking route): paid parking at the parish center, Riedweg or Edenkobenerstraße in St. Martin
