The starting point is the Vír junction, from where we set off along the yellow trail towards Hrdá Ves 0.5 km, Zubštejn ruin 4 km. At first, we walk along the road and then start to climb steeply until we reach the Pod Bajerovým kopcem junction, where a signpost should be located. There, the yellow trail separates from the blue, which we follow to the ruin of Aueršperk. The blue trail here turns right, leading through a field towards the edge of a small forest and continues along a field path towards a small wooden hut near the forest. When we reach the forest, we turn left into it. We descend steeply through the forest into a small valley through which the Bystřice stream flows, and beyond it, we ascend to the remains of the old castle ruin called Aueršperk. To return to the planned circuit, we must go back to the place where the blue trail separated from the yellow trail and then take the yellow trail to Pivonice. After the village, turn left uphill and after 0.5 km of climbing, we reach the monumental ruin of Zubštejn castle. In the immediate vicinity of the ruin, there is a mound, a fireplace, and a log cabin. From Zubštejn, we continue along the red trail towards Vír, 5.5 km. It is practically all downhill until we reach a mighty beech tree where there is an unmarked signpost. From there, it is 2.5 km to Vír. From it, we then follow the trail with the ruin symbol a bit further to the right. After a relatively strenuous climb, we reach the ruin of Pyšolec castle. Then only a steep descent awaits us down to the village of Vír, where our trip ends.
