For the wine experience trail please go about 100 m up the stony service road and turn left. You will immediately reach a heavy table (Roxheimer Strunzertisch), where you can take a rest. Afterwards, the route continues with a great panoramic view through the south-facing slopes of the vineyards, which are pampered by the sun; this is also the origin of the vineyard location name "Roxheimer Höllenpfad"; you should google it. Along this section of the path, a number of grape varieties are described and old wine sayings will also make you smile. After passing a pergola with seating and information boards during the gentle ascent, you first reach a small
viewing tower and then the 5-village view, from where, in good weather, you can see the Altenbaumburg. Now take a sharp right and on a wide service road, there is also a nice view towards the north from the platform. After about one kilometer we turn right again and a wide view towards the south opens up again.
Now we reach the XXL chair on Neuer Berg, where you should spend some time as from here you can see 12 villages; since Bad Kreuznach is only partially visible, it was declared a village during the chair inauguration. Which villages you see should be discovered by each hiker individually.
After studying another information board on geology (formation of the Birkemberg) next to the XXL chair, take a small path down to the right, which requires some surefootedness. Parents with prams can also return to the valley via the service road. Once down, having reached the heavy sandstone table, the end of the wine experience trail is almost reached.
