From Oberschlettenbach, hike towards Hahnehof and then further to the Lindelbrunn Castle ruins. Enjoy the view from the Lindelbrunn Castle ruins and then continue to the Rödelstein rock near Vorderweidenthal. However, this should not be the last rock on your hiking trail. The "hills" of the Wasgau stretch endlessly to the horizon, offering a dream arena for hikers and a paradise for climbers. On your way back to Oberschlettenbach, you will get to know the Buhl stones with the Buhl stone pillars and the Löffelsberg. You can also choose the shorter variant of the hiking trail. In this case, you walk from Vorderweidenthal via Bühlhof back to Oberschlettenbach, leaving out the Buhl stone pillars, Buhl stone, and Löffelsberg.

Pay attention to nature, do not destroy plants and always stay on the paths. Avoid excessive noise and leave the forest before dusk.
Think of a trash bag for on the way and take waste back home with you.
Please always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
Observe all trail closures for your own safety, including on weekends.

Please give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

General guidelines:
Especially in autumn, be aware that fallen leaves on the ground can conceal unevenness, roots, stones or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or heavy rains, trees may still fall or branches may drop afterwards. Especially in adverse weather conditions, natural paths can have muddy and slippery sections. Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. Surefootedness is required in some places. You must expect such path impairments when you go hiking. If you believe that certain sections of the path are not passable for you, you should avoid them.
NOTE:
We strive to announce all closures caused by forest work or hunting groups on this platform. Nevertheless, there are situations where hiking trails are closed and we may not have been informed. If you unexpectedly encounter a trail closure or detour, please follow the instructions for your own safety.

Equipment
For our hiking tours, we recommend the following equipment as standard:
Sturdy footwear
Weather-appropriate clothing
Sun and rain protection
Sufficient supply of food and drinks, as there are not always places to eat or shop available or open everywhere.
Even though the paths are continuously very well marked, for safety reasons it is advisable to always carry a suitable hiking map, so that you can quickly find a safe area, for example in case of a thunderstorm or emergency.
