Rinerhorn Hydropower Nature Trail

The Hydropower Adventure Trail begins at the Jatzmeder mountain station, where the first stop—dedicated to water sources—is already located. From there, the trail leads through the forest to the Nüllisee reservoir. Here, a barbecue area and provided firewood invite you to take a leisurely break. The trail then continues along Rinerhornstrasse, featuring various interactive stations about hydropower, all the way to the valley station. There, the tour concludes at the turbine house, which is open to visitors. You can view the two turbines up close, gaining a fascinating insight into electricity production. The adventure trail follows gravel paths, forest trails, and short stretches along the cantonal road.
