The Reden Panorama Path, starting at the parking lot opposite the mining office in Reden, offers impressive views throughout the entire route from the spoil tip to deep into the Hunsrück.
The landscape between the former mines Reden and Itzenplitz sparked people's curiosity more than 300 years ago about the origin of the black "burning stones" discovered here, which they knew how to use in various ways.
