Highlights: The planetary path is so far the only one in Germany designed to scale 1:1 billion and three-dimensional according to the current status of the IAU (International Astronomical Union).
The return path is a time path from the Big Bang to today at a scale of 1 m = 10 million years

The hiking trail starts at the southern edge of Winterlingen, where there is sufficient parking available at the outdoor swimming pool.
Passing the "Kleebühl" nursing home, you reach the starting point over the B 463 with the delicate three-dimensional sun model with a diameter of 1.39 m. At the starting point, every visitor receives information about space, the Earth, and the solar system.
At the following stations, individual information boards are set up with important data and facts about the celestial bodies. The last station, the planet Neptune, marks the end of the planetary path at the hamlet of Blättringen. On the return path, the mythological representation of the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago is depicted and equipped with information boards about the formation of galaxies. The path can also be extended to the Zündapp Museum in Sigmaringen by bike or on foot, covering an additional 15 km.
Along the way, there is also a wonderful view over the valley of the Schmeie and Lauchert.
