Arrival by train:
Lake Neusiedl is easy & comfortable to reach by train. Whether you come from Switzerland, Germany, western or southern Austria: you can conveniently change trains at Vienna main station. The ÖBB regional trains will take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertőszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. Bicycle transport is possible on most trains: a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary on Railjet and EC/IC trains as well as on Nightjets. On regional trains, your bike will be carried without reservation, subject to availability of the existing bike spaces.
