The accessible trail of Huosilampi is the most easily reached part of Hossa area. At Huosilampi you can fish from accessible piers, follow the broad duckboards and familiarise yourself with the mire habitat and pine forests typical of Hossa, and enjoy the peace and quiet of Hossa at the magnificent large rest stop by the lake. The accessible trail of Huosilampi is an excellent choice for not only visitors with reduced mobility but also families. This easy trail is ideal for the youngest nature enthusiasts of the family. When descending to the shores of Huosilampi trail, there is a section of approx. 150 metres where the gradient is over 5%. At Huosilampi Lake, the trail divides: one path leads to a lean-to shelter at the southern end of the lake, while the other takes you to the mire area at the northern end. If you visit both ends, the total length of the trail is approx. 1.3 km measured from the parking area for day trippers.

    Saapuminen ja pysäköinti

Reitti alkaa Hossan luontokeskuksen päiväpysäköintialueelta osoitteessa Jatkonsalmentie 6.

Reitti on selkeästi maastossa erottuva. Reitin pintamateriaali Huosilammen taukopaikalle on kovapintainen kivituhka. Reitin pohjoispuolen suoalueella pintamateriaali on esteetön pitkospuu. Reitin pituuskaltevuudet vaihtelevat 4–15 prosentin sisällä ja sivuttaiskaltevuutta on enimmillään kymmenen prosenttia. Reitin käyttöleveys on koko matkaltaan yli 1,5 metriä.

Reitin alun Huosilammen rantaan johtava noin 150 metrin pituinen osuus reittiä on loivaa alamäkeä, jossa pituuskaltevuutta on enimmillään kuusi prosenttia. Huosilammen rannassa polku haarautuu kahteen suuntaan, joista vasemmalle lammen rantaan kääntyvän noin 30 metrin mittaisen alamäen pituuskaltevuus on enimmillään 15 prosenttia ja sivuttaiskaltevuus kymmenen prosenttia. Tätä reitin kulku-uraa suositellaan apuvälineen käyttäjille. Alamäen jälkeen lammen rannassa vasemmalle haarautuva reitti vie eteläpäässä olevalle esteettömälle taukopaikalle, jolloin reitin pituus on 500 metriä/suunta. Oikealle haarautuva reitti vie lammen pohjoispään suoalueelle ja siellä oleville esteettömille kalastuslaitureille. Lammen rannasta taukopaikalle vievällä reitillä on pieniä lyhyitä muutaman metrin ylä- ja alamäkiä. joiden pituuskalveltuus jää alle viiden prosentin. Pohjoispäähän menevän reitin alkuosa on kivituhkapintainen sisältäen lyhyitä muutaman metrin ylä- ja alamäkiä, joiden pituuskalveltuus jää alle viiden prosentin ja loppuosan viimeinen 100 metriä on tasaista poikittain laudoitettua esteetöntä pitkospuureittiä, jossa on reunaeste. Lautojen väli pitkospuuosuudella on noin 0,5 senttimetriä.

Reitiltä avolaavun terassille johtaa vajaan viiden metrin pituinen puupintainen laudoitettu luiska, jonka käyttöleveys on yli kaksi metriä ja pituuskaltevuus viisi prosenttia. Puupintaisella terassilla on hyvin tilaa apuvälineellä liikkuvalle. Laavun edessä maatasolla on erillinen tulentekopaikka. Taukopaikan yhteydessä on lisäksi esteetön kalastuslaituri.

Esteettömän puuceen oven leveys on 95 senttimetriä ja oven edessä on tasainen puupintainen alue. Lankavetimien puuttuminen vaikeuttaa oven sulkemista. Puuceen istuin on sijoitettu tilan keskelle noin 35 senttimetriä irti takaseinästä ja sivuilla on vapaata tilaa toimia. Istuimen molemmin puolin on tukikahvat. Vapaan tilan syvyys ja leveys istuimen edessä on noin 1,5 metriä. Puuceen valaistus tulee ikkunan kautta, jolloin sää sekä vuorokauden aika vaikuttavat valon määrään.

    fully accessible

    Completely accessible and fully usable.

    Huomioitavaa reitin yleisen esteettömyyskuvauksen lisäksi

Reitiltä ei ole tuotettu viittomalla olevaa ennakkomateriaalia.

Taukopaikalla istuinkehä sekä ruokailupöytä mahdollistavat kasvotusten sijoittumisen.

    partially accessible

Reasonably usable, but not completely accessible.

    partially accessible

Reasonably usable, but not completely accessible.

    Huomioitavaa reitin yleisen esteettömyyskuvauksen lisäksi

Reitiltä ei ole tuotettu selkokielillä olevaa ennakkomateriaalia.

Reitin risteyskohdissa on mahdollista harhautua pois reitiltä.
