Hubertus Chapel Path

The starting point is at Neuer Marktplatz. From here we hike over the Aunhamer Berg to the Bella Vista Golfpark uphill to the edge of the forest. There we pass the burial mounds, which were already laid out by the Celts around 2000 BC. Passing the wildlife enclosure of the Altmann family at the Giglerhof, we continue along the hiking trail until we reach the "Hoferer Höhe", which offers us a beautiful view. We continue on the hiking trail through a magnificent high forest. We now reach the picturesque Hubertus Chapel, which was built in 1977 by the clubs of the Tattenbach valley under the direction of the fruit and horticulture association and has been cared for by them since then. The hiking trail then goes slightly downhill. After about 1.5 kilometers we come to the Gasthof "Tremmel". The path continues to Oberbirnbach. There, in a forest area, the Birnbach springs, which leads us back to Bad Birnbach over a distance of about 4 kilometers.
