History Adventure Trail

The starting point of this hike is at Saalfelden Station. From here, follow Dorfheimer Straße until you reach Dorfheimer Schloss. Stay on the road and pass through the Dorfheim district until about 350 m beyond Dorfheimer Schloss the Abdeckerweg branches off to the left. Follow this for 1.2 km until you have passed the last farm. Now keep left and first follow the meadow path, then the road through Wiesing. At the next intersection, turn left and follow the road for 2 km through Euring and Lenzing. 500 m past Lenzing church turn left to Biohof Stechaubauer (Wiesersberg 3, 5760 Saalfelden). Follow the path along the farm to the bank of the Leoganger Ache, keep left here and follow the Arnoweg to Lenzinger Dorfstraße. Turn right. Cross the main road at Hotel Saliter Hof and continue straight past Stefflhof towards the ski jumping hills. Keep left after the railway underpass and follow the path until you can cross the railway tracks at the next underpass. Follow the meadow path and cross the Saalach, then continue until you reach the station area from behind. Keep right and follow the road until you reach Zellerstraße. Turn left, cross the tracks at the level crossing and immediately keep left again. You have now reached the starting point of the hike.
