The trail starts in the northern part of the village of Likavka, at the Tourist Information Office on Pod Hradom Street. The beginning is not clearly marked, but the direction is indicated by a sign painted on a pillar. After the chapel, turn right, but after a few meters you turn left and continue past the Likava Hut along the edge of the meadow. The direction is determined by a cross on a hill behind the hut. The dirt road is initially overgrown, but it will lead you above the Drndošovo mine. Here you can take a short detour to the cross with a nice view - however, the trail here is steep and slippery, so be careful. If you are walking with children, the viewpoint at the second cross on the left is more suitable, where a comfortable path leads through the meadow. The route then continues to the mine, where the first educational panel about the surroundings is located. The path then climbs into the forest and after a while you will come out onto the Hlivovo meadow with a second panel - about the history of local land communities. There is also a jubilee grove planted for the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia and a shelter with a fireplace, an ideal place to relax. From the meadow, continue to the right into the forest, where you will come across a well with drinking water and a panel about flora. After a while, you will reach a grove with young trees and a board about hunting. The path begins to descend, you pass a feed trough and come to the chapel of St. Hubert (from 2014) with a place to sit. Continue down to the crossroads and turn slightly left to the shelter in the Skalky area, where there is the last panel about fauna and habitats. Behind the shelter is Nižné jazierko between Čebrať, a few meters higher also Vyšné jazierko and a spring by the road. Here the nature trail ends - you return along the same route.
