- Fire & Smoking - Making fire, smoking, and grilling are strictly prohibited in the forest and must be avoided! Fires and thus great damage to nature and wildlife can only be prevented this way.
- Being considerate - Always behave considerately, friendly, and attentively towards everyone you meet on the way.
- Nature conservation - Stay on designated paths and avoid unnecessary noise when you are in nature. Leave the forest at the latest at dusk to avoid disturbing the rhythm of nocturnal animals.
- Picnic & Waste - Remember a trash bag for on the way and take your waste back home. Use only the furnished rest areas for breaks and picnics.
- Leash your dog - Please always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals will thank you.

Safety information
Hiking on natural paths and trails - Especially in autumn, pay attention that fallen leaves on the ground can cover unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or heavy rain, trees can still fall or branches may break off afterwards. Especially in adverse weather conditions, muddy and slippery sections can occur on natural paths. Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. Surefootedness is required in some sections. You must expect such trail impairments when you undertake a hike. If you think certain sections are not passable for you, you should bypass them. Despite the “unmissable” marking of premium hiking trails, we recommend always carrying a suitable hiking map for safety reasons, so that you can quickly find a safe area in case of a thunderstorm or emergency. Trail closures and detours must be strictly observed.
Danger situations - Should there be an emergency, quick help is needed. And even if mobile phones can send GPS signals, rescue points are often the fastest. These are located at places that are easily accessible for rescue vehicles. Remember the points with the green signs and a white cross. In an emergency, return there and provide the number on the sign when calling for help. This way, the rescuers will know where to find you.
Roadbook
The starting point is the cemetery (Marktstraße) in Lambrecht. We go straight ahead and past the cemetery to enter the forest. We follow the section of road or forest path for about 250 meters before turning right onto a trail. From now on, it goes uphill all the way. We follow the trail for about 50m, then turn left onto the "Path of Virtue." Follow the "Path of Virtue" for about 1km, then turn right onto another trail. We follow the trail for another 200m, then turn left onto a forest road. Follow this forest road for about 100m and then continue along the left forest road. After approximately 400m, we reach our destination.
By now, you can also follow the hiking marker (clockwise) of the themed hiking trail "Views of the Cloth Makers."

Coming from Neustadt an der Weinstraße (A65): Exit Neustadt/Weinstr. Nord, then follow the B39 to Lambrecht (Pfalz) - follow the main street - before the pedestrian traffic lights turn left into Schulstraße - follow Schulstraße for about 160 m - turn left into Kirchstraße - after about 60 m, veer slightly left into Marktstraße (direction cemetery)
Coming from Kaiserslautern (A6): Exit Enkenbach-Alsenborn, then towards Fischbach/Bad Dürkheim. Follow the B48 to the junction to Bad Dürkheim. Then continue on the B37 towards Bad Dürkheim / Neustadt a. d. Weinstr., in Frankenstein follow the B39 to Lambrecht (Pfalz) - follow the main street - then turn right before the flower shop into Grevenhausenstraße - turn left onto Kirchstraße - after about 350m, veer slightly left onto Marktstraße. Drive to the cemetery to look for parking there.

Please only park in designated parking spaces and always keep access routes for emergency vehicles as well as work paths in the forest and vineyards clear.
For overnight stays in campers & caravans, there are explicitly designated motorhome parking spaces available.
