Touristik & Freizeit Sankt Wendeler Land
Due to its low altitude differences and good path condition, it is also suitable for families with children and people with physical disabilities. It is certified according to "Travel for All". Directly on the path is the »Afrikakapelle«, built in 1957 on the initiative of former prisoners of war in Morocco. Further special features of the Herzweg are the energy-radiating »power places« as well as the open-air exhibition »Summit Art at Schaumberg«. A detour to the Schaumberg plateau with the Schaumberg Tower, which was built in 1976 as a symbol of friendship between France and Germany and houses two interesting exhibitions, is worthwhile. The view from the tower is magnificent.
