The approximately 4.8-kilometer-long Fuchsweg in Karlsbad is a relaxed circular hiking trail for anyone looking for forest tranquility and nature enjoyment. In about 1.5 hours, the small fox symbol leads you from the forest edge at the end of Ittersbacher Straße into a green retreat. After just a few minutes, you immerse yourself in dense mixed forests, where everyday life quickly quiets down.
The trail runs along Köpflesweg to impressive giant trees, which with their deep roots even survived the century storm "Lothar." The impressive trees, almost 80 meters tall, are about 50 years old and can reach up to 120 meters in height under optimal conditions. These majestic forest inhabitants shape the special atmosphere of the tour and provide astonished glances.
Gentle ascents, varied forest paths, and repeatedly shady sections make the route particularly pleasant – ideal for families, beginners, or a short break after work.

An alternative tour start is possible from the parking lot at the Ittersbach industrial area. There is also a parking lot and a bus stop here.
