The Flims Water Route (in Romansh «Trutg dil Flem») leads from the source of the Flem down to the village center of Flims. On the way, it is sometimes scenic over alpine meadows, then again through narrow gorge landscapes. Highlights include the Segnas Sura waterfall on the Lower Segnesboden and, of course, the seven bridges, which span artistically over the mountain stream Flem and offer the best views of the water spectacle. The water route is marked on the trail signs with route number 764 and leads steadily downhill from the Segneshütte. On the section to Startgels, you cross the Upper Bridge, the Resting Bridge, and the Mushroom Rock Bridge. Then follow, in order, the Tarschlims wooden bridge, the Punt da Max, the Waterfall Bridge, and the Muletg Bridge. In the lower part, the stream flows relatively calmly in a wide bed. In summer, it is wonderfully refreshing to take off your hiking boots and dip your tired feet into the cold mountain water.
