-
The path is mostly marked with information boards, but for correct route finding, the track is a highly recommended support.

Roadbook
You start from the town hall of Kötschach-Mauthen along the B110 towards Plöckenpass, crossing the Gail river, straight on to the town center of the mountain village Mauthen. Once there, continue straight along the street, cross L21, and finally turn left. You cross the Mühlbach, turn right at Loncium, and at the next crossroads turn sharply right, crossing the Mühlbach again, onto the hiking trail that leads to the Maria Schnee church.
At the church, walk past it and continue on the forest road running parallel to B110 - until you then cross B110. From here, the route runs along a hiking trail near B110, mostly through the forest, uphill towards Lamprechtbauer. Follow the trail (see track) until it merges into the paved side road at about 1,000m - where you then turn right. Immediately after, you reach the highest point of your hike - the Feinspitzbetrieb Lamprechtbauer.
The return path leads you below Lamprechtbauer along a trail, crossing Kreuzbergstraße, downhill. In the lower part of the path, the route runs again along the ascent route - you cross the B110 again and follow the return path via Maria Schnee, the mountain village, back to the town hall in Kötschach-Mauthen.
